How to become a security guard?

Becoming a security guard is not an easy job. In order to become a security guard an individual must have successfully completed the security guard course. There are primarily two types of security guard certificate courses : 

Certificate II in Security Certificate :This certificate is for the basic operations to be performed by security guard.

Certificate III in Security Certificate:This certificate is for the upgraded operations to be performed by security guard.

What are the types of certifications course?
There are basically two types of certificates in security:

Certificate II in Security: This certificate is for the individuals who are in the initial phase of their their profession. After attaining this Certificate II in Security one is liable to perform various basic security operations such as controlling of crowd, patrolling, prevention of loss et cetera. This is the basic certification and is mandatory for all the freshers getting into this profession as guided by government to the NSW security industry.

Certificate III in Security: Certificate III in Security is helpful for people to attain security licence for using arms. Once this course is successfully completed a person is upgraded to a higher level as a security guard. In order to attempt for this certificate the candidate must initially possess Certificate II in security. On passing this course and successfully attaining this certificate a guard can perform operations such as a leader of security team, cash transit officer and security manager.
