How to Get a Security Guard Certificate

We all are into a habit of starting our day by reading newspapers or any other form of media. All we get to hear is about the crimes taking place. Robbery, murders, accidents, rapes or causing harm to the public or government property due to some riots or feuds. Now we all are well aware of the fact that everyone in this world is very caring about our near and dear ones. Where few cannot there are also few in this world who can pay off well for keeping their relatives or their infrastructure safe and well protected from the criminals for this purpose they hire security guard.


In order to become a security guard, it is important to successfully complete the Security Courses and attain Security Licence. Security Guard Certificate is mainly classified into two forms that is 

Certificate II in Security Operations: This Security Guard Certificate is provided to the candidates who desire to attain basic training. The ones who attain such certificates are only capable of applying for the designation of security guards. They are not eligible to become officer to safeguard cash or any other higher designation of a security officer.

Certificate III in Security Operations: This certificate is given to the candidate on accomplishing high skills in security training.the certificate. A candidate can only apply for certificate III once he has attained the Certificate II. After receiving this certificate the candidate can easily apply for the post of security officer or a security manager. 

These security courses provide all the basic requirements that are needed to train a candidate for the security purpose. In order to apply for such certificates it is important that the age of the candidate should be 18 years or above. Moreover the validity of these certificates is 5 years.
